At the International Animal Rights Conference in Luxembourg, with my art comrade and friend Philip, we gave a presentation titled 

'Art For Change'.  We discussed how protest art has always been a tool for social and political change, examining its use across the many intersecting issues of oppression.  We showed how to use art as a significant part of the fight to dismantle societal norms and harmful narratives around the use of our fellow animals, highlighting the importance of how artists for liberation can use their work to amplify the animals' own voices.

I created some simple animation for this video, taking inspiration from Gretchen's incredible poetry collection set in a maximum security men's prison.  I am deeply indebted to Gretchen for allowing me to illustrate two of her works in video form, the other being 'Love This', which you can view below.
